People who have WIDE wheels, PLEASE READ

I am in a dilemna with my Rear wheels. I am currently running 19x10 in the back with a 275/35/19 tire. I have a system in the trunk with stock springs. I have Tein H techs on the way. My Camber is way off on the car right now. It has a good amount of Negative Camber that I will eventually get corrected when the car H techs has settled. With my stock springs with the system it is almost hitting the fender. The negative camber is what is keeping it from hitting. I need to know the people who have wide wheels that lowered there car and has corrected there camber has any issues or anything that they did to solve it from hitting in the rear wheel. Thanks

i dont have wide wheels, but it sounds like you need to cut/roll your fender.

Yes that is what I am trying not to do. I have seen so many people gone my setup but have heard nothing about rubbing. I have Racing Hart J8's. 19x9 in front and 19x10 in rear. It is only the rear I am concern with. When I correct my camber that is when I am worried. I will take a picture by tommorow to show you guys.

You might also want to post up the offsets on the wheels and the amount of drop on your car.

rolling the fender would be your best bet. or you could switch tires (brand/size).

How much does that system weigh?! I wouldn't be too worried about the H-techs, they lower the rear very slightly, ~less than an inch. When I had mine on, I think they only lowered the rear about 0.5 inches (maybe even less). I had 10.5s (tires 275/35/19) in the rear before, camber corrected with kinetix arms. No rubbing.

Well I got 19x10 in the rear with the same tire size (275/35) along with 350Z tein h-techs and a SPC camber kit in the rear. I have one 10 inch sub and it doesnt rub. What is the offset of the rear rim? That makes the difference

285's on a 10.5" +29 SF-winning with a little more than a 1" drop (with perfect camber using SPC arms/bolts) AND ZERO RUBBING ISSUES!

It's all in the offsets...

btw, try to avoid rolling your fender. from what i have seen, cutting it is a cleaner way of doing it that wont crack your paint in the long run.

Ok guys the offset is 19 in rear at 19x10 with 275/35/19. I have 2-10 in AudioBahn Subs, amp, capacitor all that ways around a hundred pounds maybe.. But it is a significant drop from stock. It looks like a little lower than Tein S Tech in the rear. My Friend has S Techs and we have compared. By the looks of it, without correcting camber I will be fine. Correcting Camber, it is seriously going to rub with more weight or bumps...etc Thanks for all your input. I would like to stay away from Cutting at all costs.

You should have no problem if you have a correct offset. I have 20 x 10.5 in the rear with 285 tires and have no problems with tires with no rubbing. Thats also with me being dropped with Tein S-techs and have a sound system that weighs around 100 pounds. My alignment is also within spec.

You will rub. I have the J5's with 10.5 and 26 offset and from what I remember your offset is either the same as mine when you calculate it out or 1 mm further out towards the fender compared to mine. I cannot exactly remember but anyway I have the Toyo Proxies and put a door edge guard on the inside of the fender just incase it did rub and I got some rub marks off of the door edge guard meaning it has rubbed slightly. H-techs will rub in your situation. I once took another wheel that I had to a machine shop and they cut the inside of the wheel down 3-4 mm but I do not feel comfortable doing that to these wheels. I would probably just roll the fender or have it cut. Hope this helps.

Thanks Leegina. I am pretty sure it will be rubbing. I will try your door guard. If it doesn't rub too bad that might work for now. It is very close from rubbing right now on Stock Springs with subs.
