Opinions on Axis wheels

Opinions on Axis wheels

I love the look but not familiar with the brand. Anyone run them before or currently?

they are one piece and heavy...otherwise, they look good.

OHH YEA are they heavy wheels, my buddy has these on his m3. very nice

axis

I have some Axis wheels with Hankook tires (not the ones posted). 19x9.5" in the front and 19x10.5" in the rear. They are heavier than my old stock 17's but look great and are reasonably priced for summer only wheels (for me). At about half the cost of the more expensive wheelsets, I'd say they're worth the money.

I have the Axis Milanos. They are one year old. They look nice, but lack in some finish quality and some of the waterspots do not go away. I say they are ok, not great.

Heavy is bad...very bad. Well another brand shot to hell. I guess I need to just pony up the dough for some expensive wheels. I've always had nice shoes on my ride but now with the G I have to take it 5 steps further. I love the Maya RT5 but dammit they are expensive! I guess I need to keep looking.

I just installed the Axis Mod Sevens 20x10 and 20X9 and they arent so heavy. Prob about the same or a pound or two heavier then the OEM rims.

I like the Milano's... they're great dress-up wheels. I wouldn't be too worried
about the weight unless you track the car. You'll notice the weight during take off
and braking, but on street it's acceptable. heck, not everyone's going for all
performance on this car anyway.

Heavy is bad only because I hate losing any performance on such a nice car. I really will either go with a set like this or some TSW's.

My main concern no matter what is the quality of the wheel. I had a set of Konigs (polished silver) a long time ago and they pitted bad and I took extra great care of them. Went to a set of Alba's (chrome even) and I didn't take nearly as good of care of them and they still look 100% brand new today.

I can deal with some heavier wheels if they will hold up. I guess that should be my point of the question: are they of good quality that if taken *decent* care of they won't pit too bad?

Agreed I got a set of 20 inch Mod 7's 9.0 in front and 10.0 in back (nice 4 inch lip) and at $1299 for the set new I couldnt complain
