hey guys i have the 19" 5zr hypers in sbc, what would be the estimate cost to powercoat the rims and leaving the lip. anyone help would be appreciated.

 

I think it depends on your location. At least in the Dallas area, I recall that it's about $80 per wheel (more depending on the lip size).

That's not only powdercoat mind you. I think this person puts your wheel into a vat of chemicals to take off the old finish. Then he hand polishes the lip, and powdercoats the center to whatever color you want. I hear that he does great work. If you're local to Dallas, he does about a day turnaround.

 

(not being a smarta$$ with this comment) BUT, is there a difference between Powdercoating & Powercoating??? Or is that what he meant?
