Hmm, my left rear dropped a bit

Hi guys,

My left rear rim has gotten closer to the fender (I noticed it today as my car was parked)... I am on stock suspension, however it looks like maybe it is dropped on HTECHS...

The right rear is still the same.... could it be because of my sitting in the car that has caused the left rear to drop/settle a bit?

My friend said maybe it's a blown shock, but I do not see how this could have occured, please advise...

thanks!

My left side is also noticeably lower. I have RSR Ti springs on but they're not the culprit (I changed the rears out side to side but the driver side was the same height).

It's not the shocks either. Shocks dampen. They don't determine ride height.

Thanks for the reply al503, do you think it's just "one of those things" then?

I mean, now I'm looking at it, and it seems BARELY noticible...

Altho, now I'm ****... I was driving at < 5 mph, and I felt little bumps... altho it could've just been the road... or my suspension!! o_O

You know, I noticed the same thing on my sedan. I had 350z springs when I first noticed it, and now I have Htechs, and the same thing is present. Wondering if it is somthing built into the suspension.

Mine measured completely even left/right.

The lower progressive spring rates will tilt the car (H-Techs, S-Techs) but
your factory linear springs shouldn't.

I'd just add some shims to even out the corners. run a search on how
Gsedan35 did his to adjust ride height.

Both my stock and my current setup (350z H-techs---not progressive) had the same problem. And funny you should mention--I am going to be doing what G35sedan did anyhow, because with all of my stereo equipment, my rear sits too low for my tastes.
