Hey I was wondering, all of you guys out there that have the volks Gt-7 or other wheels how did you get them in diamond black? Did that stop this color option or did you buy it somewhere else then i was looking. I tried place on the internet and i just can't find anything. If anyone knows where i can make a purchase of these wheels hit me up with some info.

Thanx
Steve

I purchased mine from retailer that posts on this forum. They happened to have them in stock when I wanted to order. I got them in a week or so. From what I understand, you now have to wait 3-6 months unless somebody already has them in stock. If you are looking for used ones, stay tuned for the private classifieds both here and on My350Z.com. I will be posting mine in the next week or so. They are in great shape. Here are the specs:

Wheels are 19" Volk GT-7 8.5 and 9.5 (+23 and +24)
Tires are Bridgestone S03's (245/35 and 275/35)

My guess is three of the tires still have 1/2 their life and one was just replaced due to a nail...so it's new.

I haven't decided on price yet, but if you want to PM me with an offer, I may be able to work something out ahead of time. This may also depend on shipping.

Here are some pics...

I got mine from a shop around here called Street Toys, that orders them straight from Mackin Industries!

They are the Volk GT-7s 19"s by 8.5 and 10.5
Tires are Falken fk-451's

I'll be selling mine for 2 reasons...well, maybe 3:

1. I'm sellin the G to make it easier to buy a boat
2. I'm selling the wheels cuz I won't have the G. Instead, I'll need wheels for a 2002 A4/3.0/6MT/Quattro that I'm going to buy instead (I know, a loss of 60 ponies!)
3. I'm getting F'd over by the insurance agents that are handling the theft of my other car. We just had a Land Rover Discovery stolen, and they are sticking it to us on the payout.

So much for my sob story. Stay tuned for the posted price. I'll PM those who are interested just in case. But just know that I won't be ready until next week. I have to be able to drive the G (a few days from recovering from my knee surgery....yeah, it's been a rough month!)

Wait, I can't PM anyone for some reason. Does this have anything to do with the fact that I am not a "Premier" member or because my new name is...well, new. I used to be on this forum for a while before under a different user name before it was convereted. Anyone know the deal?

One last thing...I'm in NC if that helps you estimate shipping. I think my shipping estimates to CA were around $240 through UPS. That was at 60 lbs a wheel/tire.

I got my Volk SF Challenges in Diamond Black (19X9.5 & 19X10.5) from Wheel Options/Dsicount Tires in El Monte - So. Calif. I wanted the SF Gunmetals, but they only had the Diamond Blacks. The shop gave me a "great deal" on the package. I love the color with my Red G.

Diamond Black

IMO - The Volk Diamond Black color is a few shades lighter than most glossy blacks. I was told by the wheel shop that it was a limited edition color (in 2004?). Here's a couple of pics of my wheels -
