not bad I got 6440 and are u sure it was 305/35 I think u meant 305/25 thats what I wanted but im gonna do forced induction first I did looks on my last car and not enough performance and I longed for F/I. This time Im gonna do performance first cause I can live with the 19's for a while!!
Unless Asantis are made out of some super human alloy or metal from another world, its still just METAL. I don't care whether you have forged rims, steel, or whatever, hit or bang them at the right speed, with a low 30-35 series tire, and they're TOAST!
Stating "they're stronger than that" is a pretty, well I'll refrain from saying, comment. What are they stronger than if I may so ask? Are you basing their strength on their price, if so, man you got a lot to learn (take into part the fact the SCCA has BANNED HRE's "which are also PRICEY wheels" from track use because the've been FALLLING APART)! If you're also going to mod your suspension (springs or coil overs) you have even more to worry about, as now you're running a stiffer (in most cases) than stock setup which means your wheels will be taking more of a "beating".
Don't think you can damage an Asanti wheel? Think again! In fact, a cheap $50 steel rim (what Jeeps use to rock crawl with) would take a better beating, but lets face it, they weigh a ton and don't quite have the "eye candy" appeal the fancy "Asanti" wheels have, but once again.. don't think you can damage them... lol... think again!
