How to fit these wheels ?????

I have a set of 17x7.5 wheels from my previous car laying around. I'm wondering if i can use them on my 05 instead of 19s in winter time with snow tires.

Rims are:
17 x 7.5 +48 offset 5x114 lug pattern

What would i need to use them on my 05. How much of a wheel spaces would it need on front and back to use them safely.
Rims are ROTA SUBZERO in case someone is wondering.

IMO, I would first do some research into the load ratings on subzero's and make sure they are within the range of a 3500lbs car. Being a cast rim that doesn't weigh much plus seeing pics of failure's on car's compeating in autocross, that would really make me invetigate before I tossed them on my G. I'm sure you will clear the suspension parts, with a 48mm offset and stock tire sizes on a coupe. But appearance wise you may look at the car and feel that 15mm spacer's are in order at all corners, I dunno.

well i'm not planing on using these to race on. Only for winter time/snow conditions.

All failures of rota's i've seen were form road racing. I pushed mine when i had them on my prelude while racing, and i know a lot of people did the same and we never had problems. So since i'm not planingon racing in the winter time and with winter tires, i just need them to hold me over till warm weather.

I need to find out what the correct spacer would fit and if 7.5 wide rim would be sufficient enough.

Id try a 15mm or 20mm spacer with longer studs.

What happened to your Lude? I had a 98 myself in white pearl a while ago. It was
a beautiful car. ran SSR Integral-A2's on them.

^^ Lude was a lease. I put a lot of money into it and raced it, but by a freak accident my cam gears bolts came undone and it retarded the cam 90 degrees... next thing you knw BAM.

SO i parted teh car out .. fixed it and got rid of it.

I loved that car. too bad it was underpowered. Great car and amazing handling. It was a lot easier to throw it into a corner then the G.

-- how much of the thread will be covered by the spacer. I know the stock studs are pretty long. What are the disadvantages of using a spacer.
