Chant after me: Both,both both!

If you can conceive it and you can believe it then you can achieve it!

Walk straight up to your nightshift manager at Denny's and tell him/her
"I'm not washing one more dish until I get a real raise, not like the last one that didn't give me anymore money but made me Sr. Asst. Superintendent Head Dishwasher. I need more $$$ for rims and a TV!"

Wait a minute, that's how I got my stuff. Well..........you try it too. It works!

i had the same dillema a month, mine was to buy a plasma or rims.
i had cable for free at the time so i knew if i were to spend the money on a plasma i would have to upgrade to digital cable and get the hd programing which would mean not only shelling out the money for the tv but another monthly expense. well i decided to get the tv and once i did i was not that impressed untill i got the hd programing holly$hit. it looks amazing and im happy with my decision.

Like I said before, get the rims, I hav a plasma and 2 lcd tvs, the picture is good, dont get me wrong, but it definetly could be better. Oh and btw, the picture on HDTV crt tv's is better than DLP, Plasma, and LCD. This is due to the fact that crt's have a higher refresh rate. You can find this out at most technology websites like cnet.com. This is also that most computer gamers get CRT monitors instead of LCD, this is because there is no "ghosting" on the monitor. If you want the best picture get a CRT, and this is why there is another reason to wait. Remember a year or two ago when there was only EDTV? Well now there is HDTV, and what do you think will come in another year. If you wait, you will be more satisfied with your choice b/c you will have better picture quality. Now the fact that CRT tvs are so big, within the next year companies like Samsung, Philips, and LG are going to begin to make Ultrathin CRT tvs. They will not be as small as plasmas or LCD tv's, but they will be significantly smaller than the exhisting CRT tvs. I love my HDTV, but personally i'd much rather have rims, because you get the looks, and if they are lighter than your exhisting rims, a bit of performance mixed in. Wait on the TV, you will be happier. Sorry for the long reply, but i had to get that all out.

Yeah but then if you wait a year someone else will tell you to wait another year cuz somethin better is just around the corner! It drives me crazy. I guess we should all just go to Tokyo where everything is about 5 years ahead and bring back some goodies!

I think I'm going to get coilovers and wait a couple months before I get wheels so I can make sure the camber issue is taken care of. Maybe the tv will come at income tax time!

Here's a good site to determine what type of TV you should buy. Each has its pros and cons, but you have to know what you want and what will make you happy. This will apply to TV, wheels, or any other major decision you have to make.
