Ride height question regarding Tein Basic damper

If the front went from the 05 coupe sports to a stiffer spring, say by 20%, shouldn't the rear be increased the same percentage?

On the rear spring rate in relation to upping the front spring rate, that's up to you, but IMO I would not increase the rear rate any more then you already have, not unless the front rate went up a lot more then 20%. Another way of looking at it is this, your current rear spring rate setup is front +0% rear +24%, changing the front springs to +20% would even things out. Tuning theory say's you should get more understeer then you have now by plusing the front springs 20%, reality is less camber change allowing the tires to work better and greater rear traction out of the hole.
Firmer suspension on 04 coupe
My 2004 base coupe 6MT (08/2004) bounces on section of road going to work and on another section going from work, rear end is jumping out.
I would like to have firmer suspension on this car.
After Gsedan35 wrote in 09/2004: “The RSR 350Z spring is the best performance lowering spring at this time that you can buy for the G or Z. Only going to coilovers would be better.” I thought about getting them together with Tokico D-spec for 350Z. What cooled me down was front and rear camber kit price.
I thought about going with D-spec on current OEM springs, but didn’t because of another Gsedan35 post in 10/2004: “Well, I helped someone else install the D-specs on their car and I could tell setting them to 4 wasn't enough, not surprised that 5 isn't either. I have a feeling it will take 7 or 8 to get to the oem level of stiffness.” … “*According to Tokico, the D-specs are supposed to be adjustable to be softer then the oem shocks and allow you to turn them up to be a much stiffer then the oem shocks. Thus far, that much stiffer bit isn't panning out.”
Now this thread made me thinking about rear springs from 2005 6MT (427). Dealer parts department gave me $240 price for 2 springs. They are saying that bars ($211F+$120R) stayed the same as on 2004, which contradicts posts on the net.
Would 350evo bars set at medium (+10%) on front and at soft (-2%) on rear eliminate possible oversteer created by rear springs (+24%) and/or would there be other problems as well?
It could be that all I need is to spend some time in driving school, even after almost 30 years of driving.
Please advice. Thanks

accordfreak, you installed them recently, did your basics settled? Any drop? Thanks
Reading it over, it looks that Gsedan35 compared D-specs stiffness to OEM 350Z shocks, which are firmer than OEM G35 shocks. After reading some of kenchan and CrazyMike posts I guess that I will skip springs swap for now and try D-specs with 350evo bars first and see how that goes. Thanks

Well I bet if you head for the garage in your "working on the car clothes" she doesn't say, "what are you doing to it now"?
