how will it be?

okay right now i have stock 235/45/18 all around on my 05 g35 6mt sedan sport tuned suspension. i'm going to get 20" chromes. the tires will be 245/35/20 or 245/45/20, i can't really remember. how will the ride be comparing the tires and the rims? i know that i'm going to lose just a little bit of performance, handling. thats no big deal for me cause i know i can still kick *** with this beautiful g35. just wondering if anyone has done what i'm going to do, give me a straight out answer of what you felt after you switched. thank you.

Biggest thing I see is the effect of unsprung weight on ride quality, heavier tires and wheels will impact that, it's not only from the lower tire profiles. That is not to discount things performance wise, just not going to bring that up really because of how you worded your post.

Also, keep in mind that bigger wheels will draw your eye to your fender to tire gaps and make the car look like in need to be lowered. Of course I don't know if your lowered right now.
