Just took the sedan to the dealer because of squeeling when braking.

After having the car up on the lift for about 45mins (also attending to the brake switch recall) they come back and proclaim that I need new pads and rotors on the front, both sides. $550, ouch !!!

Ok, I push the car but I've only done 13400 miles in 14 months, isn't this a little soon to have to replace the front brakes??

Which brings up an interesting point... were any pads/rotors replaced in the damage repairs?

Same Here....

My g35 sedan needed pads and rotors..FRONT & REAR.. all started with the sqeaky noise.. 18,000 miles...11 months old..
turns out..Infiniti has realized that the original pads did not have the right compound!!! New ones just came out last week!!! 7/7/03!!!!
