I got the same answer. They should be interchangable.

Will they fit, yes. But that doesn't mean it would be a good idea from a ride and drive stand point or from a performance stand point either. Here's why. The coupe's suspension and for that matter the sport suspension on the sedan have struts that are much weaker in terms of the valving they have compaired to the Z. That is why the Z rides harder than the coupe's or sedans. Running stiffer springs with weaker struts would bring up the likely hood of bounce and control issues. Something that bother's many a Z owner already.

Another thing is the Z runs shorter springs than the G35 does, so any published drop range of a Z spring will drop a G35 more. Furthermore the Z's strut bodies are shorter, which is makes them better suited to run shorter springs.

These are the demensional differences between the G35 and 350Z springs and struts.
Z front struts 3/4" shorter
Z front springs 3/4" shorter
Z rear struts 1" shorter
Z rear springs 1" shorter
All springs on both cars use the same diameter of wire and the same coil to coil spacing, I have no reason to think the springs are stiffer on the Z at this point, but the strut valving certainly is much stiffer on the Z.

Good answer. I think I will leave it stock and put my money elsewhere.

Just wait a tad longer. H&R will come out with G35 springs soon probably rated at the same 1.5" drop as the Z.

It's still a G thang!!
