HKS Coilover Help

In preparation for a very long road trip I will be removing my aftermarket wheels and replacing them with the stock 17’s. While I have the wheels off I want to adjust my coilovers and raise my ride height about an inch. I have the adjustment wrenches that came with the coilovers, but no instructions. Any tips/tricks I should use when adjusting the coilovers? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance…Cru

PS - I have the HKS Hipermax LS on an '03 sedan.

IM surprised you haven't had more reply's. Make sure you clean the threads real good on your coil overs. If you want an 1"? just move the spring seats up 1" Getting ready for the trip? Good timing on your part, Its cooled down some in Utah.

Put on your stock springs/shocks, and let me keep your coilovers busy while you are gone.

OK, this is a super old post but I have the LS's also and need some help on adjusting the height on them. Basically I have no idea what I need to do adjust to get the front and rear to go lower. Any guidance would be appreciated!! Here's a pic of the coilovers for reference:

Cool, yea I have the wrenches. Just want to make sure I'm doing it right. So should I be raising the top perch and compressing the spring to lower the height?

It's been so long since I adjusted mine I don't remember which way is which.

Have you installed them yet?

Jeff / Eloy,

Thanks for checking into this thread. Jeff especially thanks!! I copied the manual and will go over it this weekend. I had a local shop, Auto Innovations, install the coilovers for me a couple years back so I never learned how to do it.

BTW Jeff, are you still rolling with the '06 brakes or did you upgrade to something else?

Glad to see you both are still on here and still rockin the sedan.

Still rocking the 06 brakes. Trying to see if I can justify some 2 pc 12.6" oem sized rotors. That seems to save a good 4-5lbs off the fronts and gets the rotor weight near what the 11.5" 03 oem weights were. But $$$$$$$$$!
