FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

So I just spent the entire morning fiddling around with my suspension. I readjusted my sway bars, rotated my tires, and finally got around to tweaking the coilovers. But I guess by raising the top perch in the front coilovers, instead of compressing the spring like I thought it would, it actually raised the car. Now my car is back to stock height....

So yea, FYI for anyone who owns HKS Hipermax LS's also, for the front suspension you'll want to lower the perch to lower the car, raise the perch to raise it.

That goes for most coilovers that don't have the height adjustment lower brackets. The collars move up, compressing the spring and raising the car. You can adjust the fronts pretty easily without having to remove the strut.

Thanks Chris, NOW you tell me...

I just finished the fronts and I'm too lazy to do the rears now. I think I'll save those for next Sunday when I have access to a lift again. Just so I know, for the rears it looks like they're mounted upside down. So I should RAISE the perch to lower the rear, right?

No problem Bert

Yes, the collars will move up (away from the spring) to lower the car.

Did you ever get your strut bar fixed?
