Your tires AND rims can be ****ed up at ANY tire shop. Go with a shop that has a PROVEN track record of care and handling of high end rims. I take mine to Discount Tire, but I have to watch them like a hawk and tell them to hand mount the lugs, cause it doesn't mater if the rims cost $100 or $1000 each, they will use an impact with a sloppy socket EVERY DAMN TIME.

It's all about quality & trust....not found at Wallyworld!

I have one tire shop I go to when I need tires and only one of two installers
ever work on my car, it's all about trust. Plus, I give them a good tip for
being careful so they're always glad to see me.... LOL

what kind of rims are u slapping on?
u care about them? or just want them on...

and yes they do use impacts without a care...
i would go to a shop.check out their selections, and the kinds of cars/rims they do...

Tipping is good...they remember u and your car, the next time u need something.
but watching them is always good.

I bought new Potenzas for my OEM 19's at a Firestone dealer. No problem with an impact wrench but they did manage to put marks on every one of the rims while removing/installing the tires.

Unfortunately, sooner or later, with all the times we will need mounting, dismounting and balancing during the course of ownership.... there is a good chance of some kind of damage. My rims still look good, but under close observation, I can see the scratches from sockets etc. I always bring my tires to the Infiniti Dealer for work, and give then notice I want them to be careful..... Go figure!
