Avon Tech m500's review and sizes for sedan?

Anyone have anything to say about the Avon Tech M500 tires and what size they may be running on their sedans with factory 17" rims? Thanks

I don't have a sedan, but I have run the Avon Tech M500's before. Tread wear is pretty good. Definitely handles better than my Falken 451's. I would say they are on par with a Kumho MX or Yokohama ES100.

I think they do have 235/50/17 (OEM size?), but perhaps you can go with a beefier 255/45/17 (at least the circumferences are the same). I'm not sure if the 17" sedan rim is wide enough though.

They use a G35 to advertise. http://www.avontyresusa.com/tires/tech_m500.html

Avon's are excellent tires! The only problem with them is that they're really heavy.

Because they cannot [at the price point] use expensive ultra strong light weight materials as Michelin does.
