The V3's ability to adjust compression dampning and rebound dampning seperately is a very nice unique feature, a god send for someone that will be installing different spring rates or wants to fine tune. But, be carefull about exploring the settings, it takes a keen sense of chassis dynamic's to be able to know when a change was for the good or for the bad. Only real vise I see with the KW's is the fact that they use progressive springs, the front rate spread is something I can overlook, but not the rear. However, Eibach ESS springs are a instant fix for the rear.
KW coilovers Variant's 1,2&3
Monotube construction, (not a full length adjustable system for ride height)
V1=non adjustable dampning,
V2=adjustable damping,
V3=separate adjustability for compression damping AND rebound damping and is the only product of it’s kind at this time.
Spring rates Front 485lbs to 525Lbs Rear: 240Lbs to 548Lbs (progressive springs)

yep, give a customer too many options, too many ways to screw it up if they don't
know what they're doing.
I think V2 does it all for the most part for street.
