question on 8.5 and 245/40 ???

question on 8.5 and 245/40 ???

for the G35 coupe can you run 18x8.5 and 245/40/18 all around? whats the good or bad about doing this. i know people always go staggered on tires and rims. thanks in advance

GOOD...for traction (steering)

BAD...for looks, and depending on the offset of the front wheels & if your car is lowered enough, you might rub fender

QUESTION: Why are you contemplating doing so? Is it so you can rotate your tires (and maybe save a little bit of $$$) ? If so, I think your savings won't be significant enough to be worth the trade-off in appearance...at least it wouldn't be enough for me.

But ultimately, to answer your original question...the answer is YES - you CAN run that size all around
