19's or 20's?

I'm currently shopping for wheels and would love to roll 20's but it seems as though most 20" wheels are all "Bling Bling". not too many ricer look. the other thing is I'd like to drop the Tein coilovers in there and was wondering how bad it rubs at the lowest setting with 20's. I do a lot of car shows and would love to spank some accords with my G.

Please, next time label your thread sedan or coupe, I had to click on your profile to see what you have (sedan).

The same rules apply to both sizes. As long as you get the correct offset's, use proper plus sizing rules and don't go to wide you can run either. 40mm offset, keep the tire diameter to the same as stock diameter (+or - 1%) Play it safe with a 245mm maximum width. Personely, for 20's I wouldn't risk 245's I'd run 235's.

Ivry 6mt sed
Injen CAI, 22" resonator
8X18 Enkei RPM2 45mm
Kumho MX 245/40
clear corners

Re: 19's or 20's?

I don't think my 20's are too Bling Bling, but then again I really wanted 13" Gold Wire Wheel Daytons that stick out a foot and some crazy cool angled chrome mudflaps. My 20's do rub a tiny bit in the front on steep driveways while turning, or if you hit a speedbump a little fast, but nothing to worry about, just the plastic. I have the Eibach Pro kit which is only supposed to be a 1.1 in drop, but it sits really nice on 245/35/20's. There is also a black G35 on 20's with nitrous around here somewhere.

gdupg... I like those wheels you got, but someone in the club already got's em... you know how tacky that is. I was actually thinking of going with ADR M-Classics, a mesh wheel. I will also be doing Tein coilovers. I just don't wanna have to bring the jack to shows so I can drive there comfortably. I guess it's up to me, deal with or settle.

Those are very nice as well, I considered the m-sports before going with 20's. Someone else in the club has a g-35 now or just the same wheels I got?

Same Matt? I'm talking Matt Mitchell. I haven't talked to him in years.

nos? Is that really safe for your car? I never trusted that but I always considered using it.

Thanks - Joey Avino
