Z or G Shocks for G35C w/350z Springs?

Hi all. Sorry if this is a stupid question, or if it's been answered before; I couldn't find a definite answer to this in my searches.

I have an '05 G35 coupe and I'm going to be putting on RSR 350Z springs. I also want to put on a set of Tokico D-Spec shocks. My question is, do I need to also get the shocks for the 350Z as well, or the ones for the G35? Are they both the same? If not, will either work? Are there pros/cons going with one application over the other?

Thanks in advance.

You def don't want coupe D-specs.

The Z D-specs are designed to work with OEM Z spring height.
What's the RSR drop compared to OEM Z springs?

Get the 350z D-specs. They have a shorter shaft, and will work better in your application.

Yup, what everyone else said. The Z Dspecs are shorter and will offer more suspension travel with the Z RS-R springs. Their website says it's supposed to drop the Z 0.6" so that would equal to around a 1.1" drop on the G coupe.

Thanks guys - Z shocks it is. I'll post pics when I'm done installing springs/shocks. Probably won't be until weekend after next.
