Need Advice...Come in!!!

Ok, I just ordered the Volks GT-7. 19x9.5 +30 offset up front and 19x10.5 +24 offset for the rear.

Here is what I am debating on...will 255/35-19 tires up front and 285/35-19 tires in the rear fit with no rub? I plan to keep it on the '05 stock springs. Also, if I decide to drop it an inch all around will I still be ok with no rubbing?

Thanks!

Anyone has close to this setup out there? My research says this will not rub...even if I decide to drop it inch one day.

this will not rub at all. however, if you lower more than your expected 1", you'll rub, and either have to roll the fenders, or swap out the meaties in the rear. why don't you go with 275/35 instead?

I don't like the strech wheel look...I prefer the meaty tire look. Since the '05 is already a lil bit lower I will keep my suspension stock for the comfort of the ride and so I will should definately be ok then.

So what are you planning on wrapping that 19x11 wheel with???

265/35/19. JDM all the way mang!!!

btw, 275/35 on the GT-7's will not look stretched at all. i used to run those. they're a tad bit over the edge of the lip. btw, this is with Toyo tires. if you use Falken, or Dunlop's, they will look a tad bit stretched.

what kind of tires are you planning to run??

Very Kool Mang! So 265 will fit on a 11? Wow, why not 275's?

I will stick with the 255/35-19's & 285/35-19's no drop...will post pics when the wheels come in.

I am going to run Toyo's T1-R...I only heard good thing about these tires.

yeah, the 265 will fit stretched like a ****!

wow, those rears are going to be hella meaty mang. the Toyo's are naturally a buldger to begin with. Toyo T1R's @ 275/35 is perfect on 10.5's. think of it as a swamper tire on a Little Tyke. on a side note, the T1R's are a really good performance tire. you may experience sidewall flex with them even though they've been fixed because of the 10.5" width. i can't wait to see pics. good choice on rims.
