Low tire pressure indicator problems

Got in my car today and the low tire pressure warning light came on. Checked my tires at a gas station, it said they were all about 30-32 PSI, so I filled them to 35 PSI. Manual says it should only come on in the coupe if it hits or falls below 28 psi. Drove my car after filling them, tire pressure low light is still on. Anyone have any advice on what I should do? I'll be at the dealer friday, so I can tell them about it then.

i would get it checked out. both times my light went of it was because there was a nail in the back tires. and with each tire costing $324 (if you got the potenzas) for just the tire only i would get it checked out soon. when i was there though i did over hear that that is a problem they get all the time, so it may be nothing too.

This has happened to me a few times before. The first time was soon after I purchased my car. The light came on, I put in some air, no light, no problem.

Recently, the light came on again, I put in some air, light would go off but it would come back on after a few days. Turns out it was a nail.

Either way, I wouldn't trust the tire pressure gauge at the gas station. I would say those things are hardly accurate. Spend some money and get a digital tire pressure gauge. So you know if you really are filling it to 35 psi.

everytime the light went off, there was something wrong with my tire pressure.. don't take that light so lightly.. when i first got the car, the light would continually come on and i just thought i would need to bring it to the dealership and get it reset.. however, after filling up the tires almost 10 times, i got tired and just brought it to a tire shop.. low and behold, i had a defect in one of my stock michelin pilot sports.. had the tires replaced and the light went away.. and most recently, on a road trip, i had the light come on before i hit the highway and the PSI was at about 26-27, so yeah, it works..

BUT many people have also experienced that they just needed to have it reset, so bring it to the dealership, have them reset it and if it comes on again, get your tires checked..
