Wheel diameter and VDC?
I'm just trying to figure out if I could go a little lower profile without messing up the VDC to much. I don't really care about having the speedometer off a little. I would like to run an 18" lightweight wheel but not the typical 275/40 rear, and 245/40 front. I'm assuming that the VDC is looking at the difference between the front and back wheel rotational speed. So, if I run a 245/35 front and a 265/40 or 35 rear, will this work. The rear wheel diameter will be about an one and a half inches bigger in the 40 and only a half inch bigger in the 35. The stock difference is about an inch, but front and back has a bigger circumference than what I'm trying to do. If you have any answers, opinions, or different options, please feel free to give me your 2 cents.
Thanks

Use this calculator to play with different sizesLINK
You're right the main difference is front/rear differential;
It also matters which is smaller (F or R)
The VDC will react differently...
smaller Rear = rear slip
smaller front = front slip...
I have used several different setups.
One setup had about 2% diff & VDC was deffinitely more twitchy.
I'm now running with no stagger.
Be diligent in your selection & you'll be OK
