Sedan offsets & spacers again
Yes, I know that the optimum staggered wheel sizing for the sedan is Front 19x8.5 +38 and Rear 19 x 9.5 +45. I have a line on a set of Front 19x8.5 +44 and Rear 19 x 9.5 +44 wheels. I think that the rears will not be a problem, but I am not sure about the fronts. Will they rub on the suspension or can I use a 5 mm spacer to get the offset down to + 39?
I am also trying to decide between, 245/35/19 Front, 275/30/19 rear and 245/40/19 front, 275/35/19 rear. The first option is the best match for the existing size and the bigger profile should help the ride. But I cannot find anyone who has run this size without rolling their fenders.
I will be dropping the car on Z350 OEM springs so should get a 1" drop.
What do you think.

I'm on 18 x 8.5 +42 with 255/40
There is no more than 3mm space to the suspension.
+44 might clear with 245s..
JMO, but it would be too close to the suspesion for my liking.
with 5mm spacers you'd be fine

Looking at the sedan wheel fitment chart it looks like I would end up with only 3mm of clearance. This sounds like it would be really tight for the 245 tire. I can get 3 mm spacers which would bring me upto 6mm clearance. Do you think that I can do this to get the clearance without resorting to the 5 mm spacers which I think would require the extended Nismo studs.
Codeflux, read your thread on spacers and it seems that they are OK in moderation. You have had the 5mm spacers on since May, any issues with them other than the aggravation of not getting your replacement wheels?
