ok so placed an order with Joseph with revhighonline.com for a set of 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 gunmetal Gt-c's for my 04 DG 6mt coupe a week ago. he told me that he did not have them instock but he could get them from Mackin and to me in under 2 weeks. i was like cool i can wait 2 weeks. i called today to check the status of the wheels and see if they had been shipped to him at least. he said yeah they had just arrived today to him but there was a problem. i was like oh no! he said that the UPS driver just dropped the pallet of wheels off the back of the truck. he then went on to say that only 4 of the wheels on the order were bent. then he told me that 3 of them were MINE!!!! 2 fronts and a rear. **** this sucks, but i do have to say he handled the situation very well. he is sending me my tires and the one good wheel and having Mackin drop ship the remaining 3 wheels, so i should have them mid next week. ill post pics when i get them on.
yeah...i don't know about that story.
been there and heard that before. i ordered from a vendor who does their billing through revhigh and they told me the same thing when i inquired about the delay on my wheels.
for me, the shipping company damaged the 9.5 rears I wanted, but magically they had 10.5's in stock. i decided to wait it out. it seems that after damaging all these wheels, they would either get a new shipping company or have mackin pack the wheels better.
have them take a picture of the damaged wheels...guess what, they prolly already shipped them back to mackin
revhigh is a good vendor, it's just every now and then...
hope you are being reimbursed for the cost of mounting/balancing the tires. revhigh normally mounts and balances your wheels/tires before they ship it to you.

Ok, I didn't say it was UPS...lol, it was a trucking company, not a brown van company. The pallet had the wheels stacked 8 high, and the driver decided that all 120lbs of himself could hold the whole pallet. Then he tried, and failed miserably! The wheels fell more than 6-8 feet high, and believe me, they were bent! For anybody else that doubts me, oh well, I have plenty of customers and friends on this forum that will back me up!
