Eibach Prokit w/ stock struts??? Problems? Feedback please...
Anyone running Eibach Prokits or something lower with stock struts?
Bottom out? Decreased shock life? Ride Quality? Rubbing?
I just ordered my rims (19 x 9.5 and 19 x 10.5) and a set of EIBACH Prokits for my 05 6MT from F1 Motorsports in LA.
I am planning on installing the springs myself but I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with using lowering springs with OEM struts?
Since the Prokits only drop the car an inch I figured that the stock shocks would be fine...
Feedback please.

Bumppp - im buying the same wheels and eibachs. From reading old posts, it sounds like some people believe the 1 inch drop messed up the camber too much, but others say not. I didnt see many people having a problem with the stock struts handling the drop though. Anyone else have input on this one?

Okay so I picked up my wheels in SoCal this past weekend and I got them on my car.
I also picked up my Eibachs and I went ahead and got a set of Tokico D-spec struts. On my previous rides I always changed them together. I found the answer to my question...
The stock struts WILL work and last almost as long as they would with stock springs but the stock struts are MADE to work along with the stock springs. Therefore a set of adjustable struts would be needed to work along with the Eibachs. So for performance reasons and the occasional "autocross" sessions, afermarket struts would be better. If it's just for looks and no performance then stock struts CAN be used with no problems.
I also learned that a CAMBER KIT will be required even if it's only an inch drop. The alignment must be brought back to factory spec for optimal street use.
