Brake Recall Question...
I've got about 24,500 miles on my 5AT Coupe and I just started noticing that the front brakes are sqealing like crazy when coming to a stop. I'm pretty easy with my coupe, never stomp on the brakes when approaching red lights, etc. Now my question is, I know a while ago owners of the 03-04 NON-Brembo equipped G35's got something in the mail about Infiniti replacing the pads up to a certain mileage at no cost to the owner. Would I still apply for this?

3yr/36k miles, 03/04 coupes and sedans, without Brembos. Yes. Call your dealership and ask.
There are usually two things that can make your brakes squeal.
There's the wear tab, indicating your pads need replacement, which should squeal whenever you press the brake pedal, no matter how hard, and sometimes continue to squeal for just a bit after you release.
There's also dust/debris accumulating on the pad/rotor. If the squeal only occurs under light brake pressure, but goes away under moderate to hard brake pressure, you might try giving your car a couple of good, moderately hard stops to burn off the dust/debris on the pads rotors, which would make the squeal go away. This can occur if you brake lightly most of the time and seldom brake hard enough to clear the dust from the pads.

Thanks for the heads up ryoken, I saw ur replly this afternoon and crossing my fingers...stomped my brakes the hardest i've ever done on any of the cars i've owned. But to tell you truth, I think you were right, it must of been some rocks or over accumalation of dust cuz the noise is pretty much gone.
