Bu seriously guys, you should take a look at the last few pages and right before that...very interesting questions back then when all this was getting started. Its like a timeline of discoveries on the G...before anyone knew too much about what mods work or what mods don't...you can slowly see the devolpment of the G scene...

Unless you just want to be a "poser" and have your car lowered for "looks", I'd advise against it.

And Pahlease don't give me any of this B.S. that the Eibach sales person told you that their springs will improve your car, what do you expect them to say? Ask them about Boxster springs sometime and I bet they give you the same line, and I can show you hard evidence that Eibach and H&R springs on a Boxster both DECREASE the performance of the car. (They do make it a low-rider though...)
I have Eibach springs on my 05 coupe and the ride is great. And it did improve my handling.

Obviously, by lowering your car...you lower your center of gravity and improve handling and a few other things. my car is dropped on Eibachs and I LOVE IT!

I have had eibach's on my G for over a year now. The drop is sick and lies right above the tire on both ends. The ride quality isnt that bad. The only downer is the camber issue/tire wear. If your dropping with springs, you should invest in a camber kit. Other than that, i have no regrets!! I get compliments all the time.

Questions for you... I've been seriously considering the Eibachs (1.1"f, 1.0"r drop) and as you say, my main concern is the tire wear from the negative camber. My installer says that they can work with some of the play in the OEM set up to minimize the amount of negative camber but not all of it.

Did you or your installer do this?

How much decrease in tire life did you see? Or IOW, how many miles before you noticed an increase in wear?

Did you see increased wear on all 4 tires? Just fronts?

Thanks
