Nismo versus Stillen sways...need feedback asap
I'm going in this saturday to purchase and install a sway set for my ryde. I've been planning on purchasing stillen sways versus the other manufacturers out there. Just recently I came across this Nissan dealer out here in California, www.performancenissanparts.com, that my friend linked me to which carries Nismo sways.
I haven't heard much on Nismo sways. So for the people who have them or the people who has done research on them, please post up your reviews cuz the dealer needs me to preorder the Stillens soon. I don't want nismos just for the name. TIA!
One more thing...has anyone put the combination of a sway set and a rear strut bar on their G? How's that working out for you?

Not too sure about the Nismo's, but you pay a premium price and they aren't adjustable (As far as I can tell).
I went with the Stillen's and am very happy with them. I spent the first couple of weeks trying differnet settings until I got it where I like it the best. The ability to make the car feel how you like it is key IMO.
FYI, if you can wait an extra day or 2, check out buying them from ConceptZ . I'm in Ca too, so it saved me the sales tax and the shipping was about the same as Stillen, even though I live ~30 miles away. They also currently have them for $15 less, net savings of ~$40. Not trying to sound biased or anything, but in my experience, Stillen quality is good, customer service is bad (Slow shipping, found out after 10 days that an item purchased online was on backorder).
FWIW, I found front-soft, rear-med. to be best for me, and it appears many have found the same. I can concede that if the Nismo sways equated to this setup, I would probably be happy with them, I just don't know if they do. Of course, if my budget permits, more supension upgrades may be in my future, making adjustability once again key.

hmm...that doesn't sound too bad ordering from ConceptZ. Hey $40 in my pockets is a whole lot better than going in someone elses. I just called performance nissan and they said their Stillen sways just went up $15. I also called Stillen and they said their installs are $149. DAMN! I was wondering, since you're from SoCal, where'd you go to install, how much or did you install yourself? If so...was it a bitc* doing it? Thanks man!
