keeping the same tire size as what came factory narrows our tire choices quite a bit. what tire sizes can i go to that would still work with the factory 18" wheels? i don't want to throw the speedo off and i don't want to downgrade handling obviously.

please give experiences as i need to pick up some new tires asap

Coupe or Sedan 18's. The Coupe OEMs are 18x8, the Sedan 18's are 18x7.5.

I just put 235/45/18 on my Sedan (ContiSportContact 2), which is the stock size. You're correct, they're are VERY few choices in this size, but I didn't like the option of going "bigger" (245/45/18) and adding a couple pounds of weight. You can comfortably go a little narrower as well (225/45/18) - probably get a better ride, but a little less handling performance. So far, I'm very happy with the Conti's. Lord knows, they're a HUGE improvement over the stock Turanza's. -T

I Follow the manufacturer's recommended staggered setup for the coupe.

What is the biggest size you could go with on the stock 18's? Or what sizes would any of you recomend for stock 18's?

Sorry to bring up and old post, but im ordering tires tomorrow and I want to go wider than what was on there previously. Im looking at either BFG- KDW, or the PS2's.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Always make sure the load index is equal or higher than the minimal strength oem selects.
Higher load indexes yield longer life and less slip angle for the same brand/model at the same inflation pressure.
A 7% higher will yield at least half that percentange in improvements. Much more significant than an extra 2,3,4,5 pounds of extra unsprung weight
