i'm on the verge of buying some 18" ssr gt3 rims with so3 tires for my black auto coupe but i'm considering maybe getting the 19's instead..definitely don't want to kill the performance though.. the specs for the 18's were 18x9, 245,40,18's front
18x10.5 w/ 275,40,18 rears..does that sound right to anyone..by the way total price mounted and balanced came to @3200. any feedback would be great...thanx

Get the 19's and get 285 in rear if you go 10 or 10.5 in the rear. Tirerack tend to be less aggressive.

get the 19's but go staggered, not like what i did..and that new hyper black color would look sick on ur black coupe

i'm getting the ssr gt3 (19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear) for my bs coupe as well. but i'm waiting for the tires (s03 245/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear) which are on backorder at tirerack.com. as far as performance, i think if you keep the overall diameter of the wheels/tires the same as the stock wheels/tires, it shouldn't affect performance as long as the wheels are good quality lightweight wheels. i checked out the sizes and with that setup, there's only a 0.4% in front and 1.2% in the rear difference in sizes from the stock wheels. but definitely go with the staggered setup.

I am seriously considering the satin center with the polished lip - 19x8.5 w/ 245/35/19 and 19x10 w/ 285/30/19 (Dunlop SP 9000's) - here is an awesome pic from tirerack.com ^

I think they are a great compromise between the normal silver color and some of the other darker gunmetal colors on the market...
