Wheel repair?

should i attempt to repair my own wheels? i have curbed almost all of my wheels one pretty damn bad.... i was wondering if anyone thinks i should attempt to repair it my self? i was thinking that if i used a grinder and made the surface even, then painted it, it wouldnt look too bad..... or i could melt some aluminum in the edge of the wheel then grind and paint..i kno i cou take it to a wheel repair shop... but i dont wanna spend the money.. i wanted to get new wheels anyway... but i like these too, and if i could put off getting wheels then i could do a a new head unit and sub!, but i think im going to have to get some wheels.... anyone have any suggestions of wheels that would clear the brembo.... my car is DP and i have like 20% or 30% tint.... pix would be greatly appreciated..... i think may paint them and then just get new ones in the spring...

Leave it to the professionals. If your repair skills are anything like your parking skills, well, need I say more?

dont do it, take it to a rim place...i had mine done last week i had almost all of them scuffed up on my 05....since they cant always match the color on oem rims 100% i had them go darker on the 19" oem rims and i was very happy with the results and each rim was only $130 to fix. check out the pic
