What are you not asking? Because i think you are still not asking it.
Slick tires are smooth to the touch, that's the first thing.

Sry if my question is unclear.

My question is:
What is the characteristics of slick tires?
- Do they look different than Summer tires?
- Do they grip better in the right atmosphere? If so, what's the "right" atmosphere?
- etc

depends on what kind of slick your talking about. roadracing slicks or drag racing slicks.

slicks are great to use on the track, but tricky for street as slicks do not
rely on the tread pattern (cause there is little to none!) and have
specific application for weather/climate conditions.

slicks could be made of three sections made of different compounds. the elite guys have their slicks tailor made while off the shelf guys like us get standardized compounds. If you can affored a batch of different compounds...by all means...go for it.
