Two looks, one decision

I don't know which way to go my fellow G35ers!

I know in the end its all what you like/ prefer and alot of times what you can afford....but your opinions are appreciated.

Price is about the same (just under $500 a rim).
Gram Lights are about 24lbs. No idea how much the C4s weigh (can't find it)

Racer look or more classy sporty look?
What do you guys/gals think?

Haven't seen any of these rims on a G sedan (there may be some but from my searchs, the pics are messed up)

the racing hart's are heavy, i'd go with the gram lights. on another note, of the 4 people i know with rh wheels, 2 have bent them. it may have been due to bad roads but i'd be cautious.

How heavy? I can't find that info on the net anywhere.

Bent? Thats good to know...something to consider as this is my commuter.

The downside to the Gram Lights...no one is willing to order them in so I can see them in person. Just got told today that the companies they order from will not allow them to just ship one in, no refunds...wtf?

Thank you so far for your opinions and info...please keep it coming

Gram lights. Lighter wheels are better for acceleration/handling. Plus they're going to be a lot easier to clean (very important IMO). Sporty cars (G35) should have sporty wheels not wheels meant for lux cars.

I like the look of the C4 much better. The five star wheel is classic, but too plain in my opinion. The C4 comes in a two piece forged configuration. The forged wheel should not be heavy. A quick search of web showed that Modacar in Livermore carries them. NorCal G has a good relationship with them since we have organized two dyno days there. Give them a call and mention you are a member here. They may be able to shed some light on the weight issue. I believe John is the owner and Casey is an employee there. Both are super cool guys.

Cru! You are the man. I work in Pleasanton and had no idea that Modacar was in Livermore. I keep seeing this tricked out Celica with their logo all over it.
I will be stopping by that place on Monday to check out what they have.

Thank you very much!!!

Oh, one more thing, I agree with the 5 star wheel being a classic rim but this series actually has a 7 spoke vs the common 5. Or is this also considered a "5 star wheel"? Anyways, I think I get your point/view.

No problem bro, glad I could help. Let me know what they tell you.

Oops, I just glanced at the Gramlight wheel and assumed it was a 5 star. You know what happens when I assume.

I would definitely go with the C4s. its a great version of a classic look. Ive never really liked the gram light / volk 7 spokes, but thats just me.

I prefer the look of the C4's. However, weight would also be a factor for me too before buying.

I am not sure about options on this wheel but i am certain that they come in a two-piece cast configuration. I think that the only ones from racing hart that are forged are the cp-035 and the cp-ftune.
