tire noise

i have the sport package with pilot sport tires. after about 10 000m i noticed a growl and i could feel it in the steering wheel. after numerous balancing and alignments the dealer gave me new front tires under warranty(realigned and balanced of course). after another 8000 the growl came back. i have noticed slight scalloping on the inside edge(about 2 inches) of the tire. i believe this is an inherent result from the g35s aggressive alignment. when i changed the rear tires due to wear i noticed the outer 1 inch looked good for another season while the inner 2 inches were bald. i REALLY hate the growl from the front tires and will change to toyos next time i need tires.

if the steering wheel ever gets a shimmy it is probably a missing weight because they use the adhesive type quite often and they fall off when washing.

I have Toyo's, and they get noisy also, so I would not recommend these tires. My next tire change will be Goodyear F1's.

Feathering on the inside front here also after about 8k miles. I had the fronts flipped and an alignment done after discovering it. They're not too badly worn but are a little noisier now than when new.

If you want the quietest - go with Michelin PS2's...

04 Coupe with 9500 miles and even wear on the fronts but the inside is wearing more on the rears. Just put Hawks on my Brembos yesterday so I had all the wheels off to inspect them.
