Goodyear Eagle RSA tires performance ?

I was curious as to what everyone thinks about the Goodyear RSA tires that come with the USA G sedans.

I just baught a set of 5 spoke wheels and tires from the US with RSA tires and wanted to get some feedback on them.

thanks.

My car came with the 17" Bridgestone Turanza....What is up with that? I have even seen others locally with the same sport wheels and a differant tire. I like the tires I have but I think they squeel unnecessarily when pushed hard.

I know that going to a 225 from a 215 will probably improve the road feel and handling somewhat. Does it have much of an impact on gas mileage in anyone's experience?

Thanks joema. The Michelins were exactly what I was considering. Is the better handling immediately noticeable? I know many are considering even wider tires, but many already complain about the present gas mileage which I actually think isn't bad for a big six. The G's performance is such that it's hard to go easy with the right foot!
Would you do it again or would you wait for something else to come out in a 215/55-17?

I have Eagle RS-As on my Infiniti I30 and don't think they are all that great. If you want an awesome tire, consider the Yokohama AVS Sports. I had those on my 3000GT. They rock.

I've heard that Infiniti claims the 235/50R17 won't clear the suspension on the front. Anybody else hear anything about this?

Re: Goodyear Eagle RSA tires performance ?

I'm picking up my Coupe tomorrow and soon will mount my Yokohama AVS winters that I've had for over a month. You sound like you know the tires well- care to share any experience? They're not cheap but came highly recommended. Any tips on pressures, whether better in wet or dry good on snow and or ice, etc.. Thanks for any help. As I said I'm wondering what to expect ..............
