IF you have a sedan (non-staggered set-up) then you can rotate the tires. Tires should be normally rotated every 5-6000 miles with the balancing being done every 10-12000 miles. Plus you're going to want to get an alignment done every time you rotate the tires, if not then, then everytime you balance them. I dont know where you are located but if there is a Firestone service center in your area they offer lifetime alignments for $149.99 (You can get as many alignments as long as you want for as long as you own your car at no charge after the $150.)

For the coupes with 18/19" wheels, the tires staggered. The only way you can rotate the tires is from side to side and that requires unmounting the tires since I believe the tires are directional. The 18" wheels are all 18x8 30mm offset however the tires are different width front and rear. The 19" wheels are 19x8 30mm offset and 19x8.5 33mm offset. Different width as well so a normal X shape rotation is out of the question.

if you have the coupe, i would recommend you just drive it until you need a new set. dismounting/mounting tires can sometimes end up with scuffed rims... imho, it's not worth it.

i don't rotate tires for performance reasons though.

If you do not have a staggered setup I would rotate the tires at the 1/2 life. I know back in the day people would say that certain cars would tend to wear out the fronts much faster than the rear. I have not noticed it that much. As long as the car is properly maintained you will not see much of a difference in wear. And that all depends on how you drive as well.

I also find it a waste of time and money to rotate tires...

Actually, you CAN rotate the tires if you have 19" Bridgestones.

The tires are not directional, they simply have an outer and an inner side, I went over the sidewall with a magnifying glass to ensure there was not a rotation/direction arrow anywhere.

I usually rotate my tires every 10k miles, at which time I also clean and polish the inside of the rims and check for/repair any nail/screw holes the tires may have.

I just hit 10k mile on my G35c and rotated the tires, I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that the road noise diminshed tremendously after rortating them.

I also inflate my tires to 30~40 psi; when they are at 35 psi the front tires are much noisier, it you look at the front wheels, the thread is thiner than the actual rim, whenever you brake, pressure is exerted onto the sidewalls, if there is more air, the tire will not be as cushiony.
