Question Wheel Wax

I got a set of ASA JH3 wheels for the winter. I want to give them a quick waxing before I put them on.
Now, when the weather gets warmer I plan on buying Zaino ZFX and Z2 which I will use on the stock 19" wheels but for now I am wondering if Meguiars NXT Tech Wax or NXT Tech Wax Paste will be fine. Since the wheels are not on the car yet this would be the best time for me to wax them.

axiochris,
You use the NXT paste or NXT liquid wax (linked to descriptions in my post above)? Not sure if one is preferred or if they are both fine for wheels...
