Unhappy Scratch on rims

Yeah.. I should have not gone the party with my G.
I didn't see the curb at my friend's house. heart attck !
got long scrap on passenger side rims. see pics.
Asked dealer but they don work today..
anybody knows $$$ to get fixed?


BTW... I have my own project to modify my G including wheel in. up
but still don't want to see any scratch on my G.

I can't do nothing until knowing the $$$$....

Im just so dumb................. and sad

$120 at wheel techniques. not sure if you can ship it there though but it's local here

You might want to try fixing it up yourself first. Not sure about the details but its basically sanding it down (start with rougher paper, then use higher n higher grits), then polishing it up. Worth a shot and a cheaper alternative.

I think you can easily fix it yourself. After you sand it down with rough-->fine wetsanding you can touch it up with touchup paint. I happen to have a '99 Lexus RX300 in Millenium Silver. It comes in 2 tone with darker graphite lower panels. The upper body silver is a perfect match for the wheels. And I mean PERFECT. Any Lexus dealership will have it. I've already used it twice to touch up small curb rash on my wheels and you cannot tell it has been touched up even if you look closely.

unless you've done body work before using spot bondo, just let the
pro's do it. looking at your pict, there are high spots on the rim
which need to be sanded down and smoothed out using spot bondo.

unless you had those high spots, i would have recommened you just
filing down the abrasion.

Not bad... so will be fixed tomorrow...
