Do-Luck Rims? Need Opinions.
Hi Gang,
Anyone ever heard of Do-Luck Double Six Rims? How's the quality of these rims? Also, I'm thinking of buying a set from my friend who had them on his 05 Mazda RX-8, heres the specs, Front 18x8.5 with a +38 offset, Rear 18x9.5 with a +40 offset, will these fit an 05 sedan? If so, whats your recommended tire sizes? Thanks in advance for your input.

Your talking about these right?
I'm not going to pretend I know what I am talking about when it comes to widths and offsets of rims. I will let one of the more experienced members respond to that.
Anyways, I think these would look pretty original on a Sedan. Post some pics if they fit and you decide to get them.

I could be wrong but that should fit your sedan perfectly.
I know a lot of sedan guys running 8.5 front, 9.5 back. The 38 offset up front is actually perfect, in the back with a 9.5 you ideal is between 42 and 45...but 40 should be ok if you're not dropped. Try doing a test fit on your car, but like I said it should be ok.

Is that the finish he has them in? I dont like that particular finish but I do like the rims. Do luck is forged and are 2 piece, they look sick in the hyperblack and chapange color. They even cost a bit more than volks in 19's. I would say go for them depending on the color of your car and the finish of them. Here are some links to them

You guys must not be familar with these wheels. Do-Luck is a pretty high end aftermarket supplier of not only wheels, but body kits etc... The wheels are forged and are lightweight. I've purchased some OEM 350z parts from the Seattle Dist and toured their facility. They had a modified Skyline R34, BMW M3 (E39) and a modded NSX.
If you think the wheels are "cheap", here is the retail pricing:

Their USA office is very near me. Nice guys actually. I just can't afford their products! Even though they said they could give me discounts.

Now those look a lot nicer & classier w/ the gold center cap removed & non-chrome look.....more "G worthy". Wow....look much better here! (good find Matt)

This is the pic of the rims that I was considering (Hyper Black).

My biggest concern is the rear offset being at +40. Would I have to lower the car to fill the gap? I was thinking 245/45/18 for the fronts and 275/40/18for the rears.
