Do not buy chrome Iforged Wheels!
I cant believe this is happening to a set of wheels that i paid alot of money for and waited so freakin long for them. I purchased a set of Evos about 2 years ago, and just today i washed my car and i was checking out my wheels, damn chrome is chipping and peeling off! WTF! is there any explanation? Vince or anyone from Iforged please explain, im guessing that im screwed...is there a warranty?
Wow did you give Iforged a call before posting this? Eveytime I talk with Vince he seems like hes always willing to help. Ive now ordered two sets of wheels through him and have had NO problems. I do know that he no longer does chrome. He said that was always the hold up on his wheels. He subed that part out so he was at their mercy. I would just give him a call.

like i said i like the wheels but the customer service stinks, i emailed him he says he cant do anything since its over a year....i wonder why he doesnt do chrome anymore? probably too many complaints. G352NV i think we talked before i was about to buy tires from you before I put the wheels on. Look bottomline they dont want to help. I waited over 3 months and pretty penny for these wheels and end up with 4 heavy pieces of junk, so pissed im about to donate them to a lucky person. Can they just be stripped and get powdercoated or polished?
They can be redipped but I've seen like 1 piece chromies re-dipped. When I ordered mine, I was about to get chrome b/c I didn't want to do all that polishing but then my vendor said it would be 3 months alone for just polished and another month or so to get them chromed and I was like forget it, I'll take the polished. Did you order straight through Iforged or another vendor?
That sucks bro, sorry to hear you're disappointed with your rims.
But where there's a will there's a way...I bet you could have them repaired. Either rechromed, or repainted a new color, try to contact a local rim repair shop and see what they say.

That's why you should go DCR, www.dcrwheels.com
. Better quality and service.
I heard that iForged has a pending lawsuit from one of their customers about a wheel falling apart on the freeway totalling his 5 series and putting him in a coma.
You should see if their was any warranty on the wheel that should cover it. Chrome shouldn't chip like paint, unless it is chrome paint.

You can bend a lip on ANY wheel, it just matters how hard you hit on object.
