I orderd my Volks almost 4 months ago and I am still waiting. Anyone know if I'm getting the run around? My neighbor owns a tire shop (Big O), I ordered through him, and he says Rays waits until they have a big enough U.S. order to ship across the Pacific. I ordered the 19" 9's and 10.5's SF Challenge Sparkle Silver's. Anyone know if these can be found anywhere in the U.S. in stock and ready to ship?

Also, I need to order rubber! Whats the biggest tire I can run? Any recommendations on good performance tires with an aggressive tread pattern?

i'll be joining you guys this weekend..(not for volks though) im leaving my down this saturday for my work vs-xx 6 week wait

 

i ordered mine in beginning of jan they said 60-90days. still waiting. also been waiting for injen ses track

 

i also ordered from chris @ F1 motorsports....I ordered like the 3-4th week of january and was told about 2 mos...its been 2-3 weeks. lets hope i get em by mid march when the snows are no longer an issue!!

 

Same here Guys.. I ordered from F1 about 3rd week In jan. and i was told 2 months. Im glad i ordered them at that time... i was gona wait and im glad i diddn't. i have a set of 9.5 and 10.5 Volk SF challenges in Mercury Silver. with BFG KDW's 255-35 front and 275-35 rear.... keep me posted on how your doing... chris called me last week as a followup on my email to him. I have to say this guy is on his game as far as customer service is. guess we'll all know in a few months right.. happy motoring....

 

wow sorry to hear your experiences regarding your volks....i ordered mines 3 weeks ago and got them within 3 days from F1 motorsports.

 

depending on what wheels you ordered... the SF challenge in 9.5 and 10.5 are hard ones to find in stock... what did you order?

 

i ordered sf challenge gold 19x9.5 and 19x10.5

 

i'm pretty sure that's what happens. when i ordered my volks, it was the same thing. also, cuz i went w/ an aggressive offset (the most they could give at least)...so it took 4-5 months. don't worry. you'll be happy once they come in. i wasn't...but inside i was all giddy. hehe.

 

Good things come to those who wait. I waited 8 months for mine (GT-V), but I ordered them before they were release to the public. Macken Ind showed me a pic of new rims and had to show them on Sema first. Rays usually waits to do a big order but its all the worth waiting for your rims from Rays. It all depends who u deal with. What kind of rubber u gonna put on them? Might wana check were your friend gets the rims through.
