Tire Pressure Regulator

I purchased a shock sensor that interfaces with the OEM factory alarm system. Once the shock sensor is properly installed and adjusted, the factory alarm system is capable of detecting impacts to the vehicle. For $21 it was well worth the investment for my peace on mind. When I was having the shock sensor installed a brand new red “06” G35 coupe rolled in to get the windows tinted.

The owned happen to be the assistant vice president for Discount Tire Co. He said he hated the 19” tires that came on the car expressing that they road ruff and made too much noise. I told him he would lose the tire pressure regulator TPR feature when he changed to different rims and tires. He mentioned that they had found an alternative TPR that would work with any aftermarket wheel. He went on to say that Discount Tire was damaging a lot of TPR’s when they were breaking down the wheels and needed to come up with a different product that would work on all the wheels they sold.

i thought these were TPS...tire pressure sensors / TPM tire pressure
monitors.

if there were such regulators that auto inflate per ambient and road
temps, that would be great... like EDFC for your tires! lol

I called and the number was a fax. So I sent him an email and will await his reply. So far, how do you like your shock sensor. Did you have it professionally install and if so, where did they hook it up to?
