I need advice on new tires for my '03 5AT coupe (17"). The original tires, (Goodyear RSA) were a disappointment, especially treadlife. Looking for a quieter, smoother ride, with a good treadware rating. I don't need ultra high performance. Seems all tires with good reviews on TireRack (combination of ride, quiet and treadwear) don't come in OEM size. All suggestions welcome.

I just bought the Blizzak 18" and tested it in the current snow storm in the philly area ( about 8-12 + inches). IT Did GREAT! I did not have any slippage at all during my hour ride home. Thank god I did not drop my car yet since the unplowed streets were ridiculous. The main streets werent as bad but still had about 1-3inch layer of pressed ice/snow.
It usually runs around 800 for 4 tires. its alot more quiet then OEM tires I but I dont know about tread wear. Tirerack.com had a comparison test and the blizzak did extremely well in tread wear.
