Sport suspension

I Have the g35 sedan base suspension and have opportunity to get the sport springs and shocks at a good price. I have driven sport package and do like the feel better. but it was only a test drive with a salesman if u know what i mean. I do like to drive it agressivly and would not mind less body roll. is the sport suspension worth it. i know a lot of people say there about the same but that may depend on how you drive. i plan on keeping the car a while and don't want to go aftermarket. whats the real scoop between the 2 suspensions

Re: Sport suspension

I was thinking about doing the same thing until Nissan and Infiniti annouced they will be bringing in Nismo (Nissan Motorsports) parts to North America in spring. They will definitely import parts for the G35 coupe and sedan and will mostly likely include their suspension kit already available in Japan. The biggest plus of course is that dealer installed Nismo parts will be warrantied similar to the car.

Personally I'm gonna wait to see what they offer first and then decided on what to do. I too don't want to go aftermarket either because I feel the car is low enuf. I just want a little better damping actually. It seems to wallow a bit over bumps. Plus the current ride/handling compromise is good for me. The roads here in Vancouver aren't so great anymore except for the new road in the burbs. Maybe I'll just some upgraded shocks from Bilstein or Koni.

Re: Sport suspension

I agree with Vancouver_G35 that the sport suspension isn't worth changing to. I have it on the my Sedan and if I were keeping the car I'd want to go one better, and like V G35 said not lower just a little better shock and s-bars. I also find mine wallows and plows slightly and I think you can do better. Sounds like there'll be an explosion of NISMO in the spring- that's what I'd wait for. Good luck
