Tire pressure ?

I just picked up my G sedan yesterday and check the tire pressure (17" wheels) which was 44 all around. Max on the sidewall says 44.
I'm thinking it should probably be 30-32 for daily driving ?

Opinions please....

I think most people run around 30 - 35 psi. I personally run 32 psi on stock 18's.

Yup, that's way too high. Follow the recommended psi on the driver door jamb. Should be 30 psi for the 17" wheel.

The recommended pressure for sedan 17's is 30psi. Somebody at the dealership confused your tire pressure with his own IQ.

I think you're right about that. I will be sure to mention the over-inflated tires when I receive the report from the dealer to fill out.

tire pressure

I was told the pressure is always hi for shipping so that they will not be flat when coming off the truck. Dealer said one person said ride was too rough he remembered the tire pressure, he lowereed it, and they bought the car.

Michelin and other manufacturers use 35 psi as the lab standard reference in graphing performance chacteristics.
