Eibach's...
Re: Eibach's...
Yea i looked over something and saw that i kinda trailed off the topic and made it unclear.
I dont disagree with your analysis of springs, but what i will add is this....
when you have a linear spring, you better make sure to get the perfect rate on it, or you can either wind up with a soft or stiff spring. Most people dont know the meaning or depth of suspension tuning, so they wouldnt know what to look for or what it does. they only wanna know how low it goes and keeping the ride as stock. (which we all know is not possible)
I think since most people are out to look good and use their car for daily driving or pleasure dont go into turns with crazy speeds. Thats why i suggested getting a progressive spring which would satisfy their need for keeping the car at stock comfort level and still somewhat stiffer in corners.
--after all thats what most people want. its to elliminate the ugly wheel gap.
for true racer i would defently go with linear spring and some super adjustable shocks.
but even if you not a true racer, any person can benefit from adjustable shocks, since sometimes you want the car to be either softer or stiffer.
