Please I Need Help!!!

I have been thinking about putting the fx45 20" wheels on my g35 coupe for over a year now but have been told that they will not fit because of offset. Tell me if im wrong but offset means how far in or out the wheel sits in the fenderwell correct? So if the rims have a +40 offset, doesnt this mean that the wheel sits too far in the fenderwell and that it would hit the fender lining and rub, so my question is what if i used a 10mm or bigger wheel spacer to push the wheel out more? would this solve the offset problem?

Give it some more thought because those wheels are super heavy andif you could get them to fit, it would effect your G's performance

im not really worried about the performance of the car. I have seen them on a sedan and i have seen a pic of them photoshopped onto a coupe and i love it. No offense but i hate the look of all these g's with these aftermarket wheels. It looks so importish. I am wanting a stock high performance look like the aston martin vanquish look. I love the stock look with big stock looking wheels. I think these wheels give it a bold look and they look like blades when they're spinning. So AGAIN does anyone think that this will work?

You may want to think about trading in your G for a Caprice.
