Yours sounds like it's working for all the right reasons...your pressure dips below the preset min. PSI due to the colder air. Colder air condenses & the pressure inside the tire drops...they say 10 degrees in temperature can change the pressure in your tires by about 1.0 PSI (that's why I always adjust my tire pressure when needed).

BASE ACURA TLX NOW WANT A G35 AGAIN THOUGH
Ok...in San Francisco, it got to about 38 degrees this morning...50 or so is usually pretty damn cold....So this morning, like you guys mentioned, the roads were icy wet and my rear wheels spun with VDC on...I'm like OK...then a long beeep noise and the (!) <---TSP right? came on...I haven't re-started the car yet since I got to work this morning...damn UPS...ughhh! If they work, I work...FUGGG....Anyways, I'm guessing it will go away...proably just a little colder than normal tire pressure huh?

Thanks guys....service depts. are closed today...so I figured I check here first...

BoBs =)

I've got an '06 coupe. Have had my Volks on for aobut 3K miles. Haven't had any problems with the TPMS except once when I got a nail stuck in the tire and the pressure dropped to 26 lbs.

Just bought on 06 coupe 5AT two days ago. TPMS light came on this morning and will not turn off. Argh, do I need to take this to the dealer ALREADY?

Switched from Lexus to Inifiniti, I'm hoping this wasn't a mistake.

1) Was it colder than normal this AM? (air temp)?

2) Do any of your tires look low?

3) Turn off the ignition & start it back up again & it should reset...if it comes back on again, then you either have low air pressure (what they're designed for) or there is something wrong w/ your sensors.

Just some suggestions.
