I've gone to several tire stores locally and all so far have had trouble finding me good options for the 225/40/19 and 245/40/19 tires. It's difficult to find options that fits both sizes. You can get plenty of options for the rear tires, but the front tires are harder to find matches for.
Does Falken make anything for my 19" OEM wheels (both front and rear sizes)? Otherwise, I'll just have to stick with the Potenzas or the Pilot Sports.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you'd like to try a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s, use a 225/35-19 on the front and the standard 245/40-19 on the rear. The 225/35 is the same diameter as the stock front tire. These are some great tires.

How is a 225/35 19 the same diameter as a 225/40 19? Build differences? Did you compare the 2 tires side by side?

Just going by the specs listed on Tirerack's website. Not all tires of the same "marked" size are the same in width or diameter. That has always confused me no end. Check it out for yourself. Motorcycle tires have always been like that, too. Can really be a pain when building a custom bike.Originally Posted by badtziscool

I was thinkin of doing the same route once my Potenzas are worn down, mainly because the stock tires seem a lil too stretched! Have you had any kinds of issues with your current setupOriginally Posted by PhxBlue

Both your fronts and rears are a little bit more than half an inch smaller in diameter than the OEM tires. Does the VDC act up in any way?Originally Posted by PhxBlue

How do you like the GoodYear tires? I plan to get them for my next set of tires (when my OEM Bridgestones wear out). I like the tread pattern. Are they noisey? How is the grip compared to the Potenza's?

No VDC issues. This is my second set of these tires. They grip like a drunk on his 40 ouncer. They are also very quiet.

Two sets of new tires on a 2005? Sounds like your ST is really kicking in...
